George Jacob Aichele (1886-c1965) Urban Hoarder, Insurance Broker and Real Estate Broker (b. April 04, 1886, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA - d. circa 1965, 61 East 86th Street, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA) Son of Julia X (1853-after1930) and John Aichele (1851-before1930). Julia married her husband in 1876 and they appear in the 1880 US Census for Manhattan living with John's mother Elizabeth. John and Julia had the following children: Emma Aichele (1875-?); Henry Aichele (1878-?); John William Aichele (1881-after1930); and George Jacob Aichele (1886-c1965). They appear in the 1930 US Census living at 61 East 86th Street in Manhattan. John was working as a pharmacist and George was working as an insurance broker. Franz Lidz writes in the New York Times on October 26, 2003: "In the 60's a realtor named George Aichele, who lived at 61 East 86th Street in Yorkville, was found dead in a dim catacomb of trash and cash. Amid the stacks of old newspapers, heaps of used razor blades, drifts of pipes and birdcages and zithers was a paper bag containing a single penny and a note explaining that it had been found in front of the house in December 1957."
