I found a copy of the original handwritten deed apparently entered into a deed book, probably West Jersey Deeds, p. 81-84 on Ancestry. I was not able to contact the person who posted it and would very much like to contact her or him. I transcribed the deed from the abovementioned original and had it checked by Glenn Bingham a well-known southern New Jersey genealogy researcher. The deed follows:

Nehamiah Veal to John Veal Exd.
This Indenture Made the fourteenth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Between Nehemiah Veal of the Township of Deerfield in the County of Cumberland and Western Division of the Province of New Jersey Yeoman of the one part and John Veal of the County of Salem and Province afsd [aforesaid] Yeoman, of the other part. Whereas Daniel Coxe by his Deed of Conveyance did grant and Convey unto Benjamin Davis of Deerfield a certain Tract of Land and Swamp as by said Deed account thereto had may more at large appear and the said Benjamin Davis being so thereof seized from time after gave a part of said land unto his son James Davis as may appear. And Whereas the said James Davis by his Deed of Conveyance dated the twenty fifth day of January 1748/9 for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant and convey unto Nehemiah Veal and to his Heirs and Assigns forever Fifty Acres of Land part and parcel of the before mentioned land and is bounded as followeth Beginning at a Post and running hence North twenty eight Degrees West forty six Chains to a Post Then South West sixty Degrees Eleven Chains and a half to a post Then South twenty eight Degrees East forty Six Chains to a Post Then North sixty Degrees East Eleven Chains and half unto the place of Begining Containing fifty acres of Land and Swamp and usual allowance for highways – referrence thereto had may more at large appear And Whereas Lewis Johnston agent for the West new Jersey Society by his Deed of Conveyance for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant and convey unto the abovesaid Nehemiah Veal and to his Heirs and Assigns forever One hundred and twelve acres and one half of Land and Swamp and the usual allowance for highways and is bounded as followeth Begining at a Hickery Tree for a Corner & Landing in the Line of the Land late Coxe’s Also Corner to David Reeves and running thence along said land South forty four Degrees East Eighteen Chains and fifteen Links to a Post Then North fifty three Degrees thirty Minutes East nine Chains and ninety Links to a black Oak Corner Then South forty six Degrees East twelve Chains and forty Links to a white Oak Corner Then South ten Degrees East ten Chains and twenty Eight Links to a post standing in the head of a Hollow Then North fifty four Degrees Twenty six Chains and fifty Links to a black Oak Sapling for a Corner Then North thirty two Degrees West thirty Eight Chains to a black Oak Corner Then South fifty seven Degrees West thirty nine Chains and twenty five Links unto the place of Begining in which bounds is contained one hundred and twelve acres and one half of land and swamp and the usual allowance for highways as afsd.
Now know ye that the said Nehemiah Veal for and in Consideration of the sum of Ten pounds proclamation Money to him in hand paid by John Veal above mentioned as also for divers other good Causes and valuable Considerations him thereunto moving hath granted bargained sold released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release convey and confirm unto the said John Veal and to his Heirs and Assigns forever the above mentioned two Tracts of Land butted and bounded as above said Together with all and singular the Mines Minerals Woods underwood Fishings Howlings Huntings Hawkings Rights Liberties Priviledges Hareditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining with the Reversions and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof
To have and to hold the above described two Tracts of land and Premises unto the said John Veal his heirs and Assigns. To the only proper use and Behoof of the said John Veal his Heirs and Assigns forever And the said Nehemiah Veal for himself his Heirs Exrs and Admrs doth Covenant Promise and grant to and with the said John Veal his heirs and Assigns that at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents he is the true & lawful Owner of the above said bargained premises and hath in himself good Right full ever lawful and absolute authority to grant bargain and sell the same In manner and for as afsd. And that the said John Veal his Heirs and Assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times forever hereafter by force and Virtue of these presents quietly and peaceably have hold use occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the above mentioned Premises with the appurtenances free and clear and freely and clearly acquitted exonerated and discharged of and from all manner of form Gifts Grants Bargains Sales Leases Mortgages Wills Intails Judgments Executions Incumbrances and extents whatsoever And further The sd Nehemiah Veal for myself my Heirs Exrs and Admins do Covenant and agree to and with the said John Veal his Heirs and Assigns to Warrant and Defend the above Land and Premises against all Persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any of them hath Shall and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Nehemiah Veal hath here unto set his Hand and Seal the day and Year above said. Be it Remembered that on the fourth day of June 1771 Personally appeared Before Me Samuel Fithian, Esq. one of the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for the County afsd, John Buck one of the subscribing witnesses to the within Deed and being duly sworn according to Law doth declare that he this Deponent saw the within named Nehemiah Veal sign Seal and Execute the within Deed and that William Monigill the other Subscribing Witness Signed as a Witness to the same at the same time.
