Maryborough, Queensland Australia is an important port for immigration of people from the British Isles, Denmark, and Germany. It was the first regional port in Eastern Australia. The index contains the names and ages (where given) of each immigrant together with the name of the ship and the year of arrival. The original records are are microfilm and are held at the Archives. Copies of these microfilms are also available for purchase and can be found in major genealogical societies and large local libraries.
