Acerca de Constancias de certificados de ciudadanía, condado de Wasatch, Utah, Estados Unidos, 1907–1924

This database is an index to citizenship certificate stubs issued in Wasatch County, Utah between 1907 and 1924. Citizenship certificate stubs were given by the District Court to recently naturalized citizens. These certificates contained information such as name of citizen, age, declaration of intention filing data, petition for citizenship filing data, name and age of wife, and names and ages of minor children. The index to these records, which was obtained from the Utah State Archives, provides the full name of the individual, the date citizenship was obtained, and a certificate, volume, and page #, indicating the location of the original record. Microfilmed copies of these records are available for research at the Archives as Series # 85182. For more information about these records or to learn how to contact or visit the Archives, please visit their website (Utah State Archives and Records Services). When asking the Archives about this set of records, be sure to mention the series number.

Related Records: The Utah State Archives also has possession of declarations of intention and naturalization record books from 1896-1935 for Wasatch County.

Most records held by the Utah State Archives are not indexed. Some creating agencies may have indexed records series, but frequently these are found as an index at the beginning or end of an individual volume, or as a separate records series. Such indexes are then available in paper or on microfilm.

A few series are indexed electronically. These indexes may only index part of a series--particularly if there is already an index available in paper or microfilm to the remainder of the series. Occasional electronic indexes index an entire series.
