Acerca de U.S., Residents Serving in Canadian Expeditionary Forces, 1917-1918

Rather than wait for the United States’ own declaration of war or military preparations, some U.S. citizens opted to join with Allied forces engaging the enemy during World War I. These records consist of lists of United States residents serving primarily in the Canadian Expeditionary Force. There is a small section of records of United States residents serving in the Australian Imperial Force. Each entry contains the name of the resident, his address in the United States, date and place of birth, nationality, marital status, occupation, and place and date of entering service.
