I am finding that the information given on the Records page for this information is very often INCORRECT! Please be sure NOT to take where is listed on the page as correct WITHOUT viewing the original.
I know that there is a warning that the facts were pulled from a record by a computer and may not be accurate but someone should be reviewing what is written in the record is truly what is in the obit.
I just looked at a record that gave a father's, children's and siblings name as belonging to the woman I was researching and only gives her husband's last name.
Because I have a subscription to Newspapers.com I checked the obit. The first three sets of names belong to other persons obits in the same article. Her husband's first name is given along with his last name in the brief obit.
If Ancestry is really interested in helping us they would not be so lazy in their recording of facts. It makes me wonder what else I have used that is as badly tainted
